Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead commercial and contractual governance across defence accounts. You will develop negotiation strategies, manage obligations registers, and support large, complex tenders while protecting IP and commercial interests.

You will collaborate with bid, programme and procurement teams to mitigate risks and ensure end-to-end contractual compliance across a diverse opportunity portfolio.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge and experience as a commercial/contracts advisor/manager.
• Requires technical training to degree standard, professional qualification and/or significant domain experience.
• Understanding of the Defence sector including Cyber and Data where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Promotes customer intimacy in internal and external relationships and collaborates to encourage open relationships.
• Influences business decisions through governance, identifying and mitigating business risk as appropriate.
• Develops negotiation strategies and obligations registers to identify key business risks.
• Supports negotiations with customers and reviews various commercial agreements (NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Collaboration Agreements).
• Guides the Commercial team to achieve business goals and ensures approvals within delegated authority.
