Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the commercial and contractual elements of governance, including developing negotiation strategies and obligations registers. You will influence major business decisions and mitigate risks across a Defence-focused portfolio.

The successful candidate will support bid activity, manage complex tenders, and draft or review NDAs and collaboration agreements, guiding the Commercial team through approvals and escalation when required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a commercial/contracts advisor/manager.
• Understanding of the Defence sector including Cyber and Data where applicable.
• Professional qualification or degree-level education in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Support bid and tender activities in Defence accounts and governance.
• Review and draft commercial agreements (NDAs, Teaming, Collaboration) and manage key obligations.
• Develop negotiation strategies and risk registers to identify and mitigate business risk.
• Guide the Commercial team to achieve business goals and ensure approvals within delegated authority.
