Job summary

Westminster City Council is seeking a Data and Performance Manager for the Housing Needs service. You will lead data quality, performance management, and BI, driving timely, accurate insights to inform strategic decisions.

You’ll coordinate statutory returns, support service transformation, and mentor a team to enhance reporting capabilities across homelessness, housing and temporary accommodation services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading and developing data, intelligence or business improvement functions in a large organisation.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights for decision makers.
• Experience in benchmarking, research and performance analysis to identify improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead on data quality, performance management, BI and statutory reporting.
• Oversee development and improvement of performance frameworks and dashboards.
• Coordinate statutory and performance returns to MHCLG, GLA and stakeholders.
• Promote evidence-based decision making and strategic projects across housing services.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, providers, partners and Members.
