Job summary

Databricks in London is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect for strategic enterprise customers. You will drive data & AI transformation, partner with UKI leadership to shape engagement strategies, and mentor a growing technical community while engaging with C-suite stakeholders.

You will demonstrate thought leadership and execute across AWS, Azure, and GCP, inspiring top brands to adopt the Databricks Data + AI Platform.

Qualifications

• Enterprise Architecture experience influencing technology at scale.
• Strong commercial awareness of customer and vendor motivations.
• Familiarity with major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ISVs.
• Builder mentality; ability to inspire through built examples.
• Deep experience in data & AI technologies including Python/SQL, Spark, and platforms like Databricks.
• Excellent collaboration, able to align diverse teams and tech with execs.
• Travel to customer sites in the UK ~20–30%.

Responsibilities

• Build authentic partnerships with stakeholders from developers to C-suite.
• Design engagement strategies with Account Executives and UKI leadership.
• Mentor the wider practice, guiding complex customer engagements.
• Solution complex engagements across cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Lead executive engagement, produce customer-facing content, speak at events.
