Job summary

Yusen Logistics in Northampton (NN7 2FR) seeks a Contract Manager to drive operational excellence, oversee new contracts, and lead cross-functional teams across operations, finance and IT to deliver best-in-class service.

You will manage contract implementation, maintain strong customer relationships, lead reviews, ensure budgeting, invoicing and safety standards, and develop revenue opportunities while upholding high integrity and staff engagement.

Qualifications

• Extensive management experience in warehousing operations.
• Proven track record implementing new contracts.
• Experience with automated site operations and WMS.
• Commercial awareness and cost management with budget responsibility.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Driving licence and willingness to travel to customer premises.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage new customer contracts in the SDC site.
• Develop rollout plans for new customer contracts, including service scope, timelines, resources, and system integration.
• Coordinate across operations, finance, IT and support to ensure readiness.
• Align operations with customer requirements.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews.
• Negotiate renewals and annual reviews; act as escalation point for customer queries.
• Drive profitability and cost-saving initiatives across contracts.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures.
