Job summary

Atomic Weapons Establishment in Reading is seeking a Commercial Partnering Specialist to provide commercial leadership during business case development and to translate future product and service needs into clear sourcing requirements.

The role supports the Commercial Partnering Team, coordinating integrated demand plans across Business Units, and reports to the Head of Commercial Partnering. Hybrid working is available with a 9-day fortnight and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning, business planning, commercial support, portfolio management, resource planning or a related business coordination role.
• Experience gathering and consolidating information from multiple stakeholders to support planning and decision-making.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the delivery of accurate demand plans to support commercial planning and delivery.
• Ensure demand forecasts and pipeline information are captured, validated and maintained per governance.
• Provide high-quality management information to support decision-making by Commercial leadership and Business Units.
• Support alignment between Commercial delivery teams and Business Units through planning and stakeholder engagement.
• Identify and escalate demand risks, resource pressures, conflicts and dependencies in a timely manner.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency and value.
• Maintain a forward view of commercial activity and workload planning across delivery teams.
