Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking a commercially minded Commercial Development Manager in Leeds. You will develop existing customer relationships, identify new opportunities and help shape the future direction of the business.

You will work with the Directors to drive growth, support leadership initiatives and contribute to management decisions. This role involves hands-on leadership in a growing SME environment and requires a proactive, autonomous approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing customer relationships and delivering sales growth.
• Experience with technical, industrial or engineering-related products.
• Commercial acumen with ability to identify business opportunities.
• Experience leading or managing people.
• Experience working within an SME, branch or distribution environment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers.
• Become a trusted commercial partner and key point of contact.
• Identify opportunities to increase customer spend and expand product penetration.
• Reactivate dormant accounts and win back lost business.
• Understand customers' businesses, projects and future requirements.
• Generate sustainable sales growth through relationship development rather than transactional selling.
• Attend customer meetings and site visits where appropriate.
• Monitor market activity and identify opportunities for growth.
