Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking a commercially driven New Business Manager in Skelmersdale to own business development activities, drive growth and lead a high-performing team to achieve outstanding results.

The role offers Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm with a £40,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission and an opportunity to build client relationships, develop sales strategies and exceed targets. You'll mentor the New Business team, monitor KPIs and contribute to strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales or New Business Management role.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
• Previous team management experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
• Organised, commercially minded and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the New Business team.
• Generate and convert new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement sales and lead generation strategies.
• Monitor team performance, KPIs and sales activity.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Produce regular management reports and sales forecasts.
• Oversee CRM management and ensure accurate record keeping.
• Attend networking events and exhibitions when required.
• Handle sales-related customer enquiries and complaints.
