Job summary

UK Hotel Group is seeking a Cluster Financial Controller to oversee the financial management of multiple hotel properties, ensuring robust reporting, controls and strong commercial decisions to drive profitability. You will lead finance teams and work closely with General Managers to maximise returns across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong background in hotel finance, ideally in a multi-property environment.
• Previous experience as a Financial Controller within a quality hotel or hotel group.
• Excellent knowledge of hotel financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• A commercially focused approach with the ability to influence operational management.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Experience working with hotel accounting systems and advanced Excel.
• A recognised accounting qualification would be advantageous.
• Flexibility to travel between properties when required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the finance function across a cluster of hotels.
• Producing monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets and financial reports.
• Working closely with General Managers to maximise profitability and identify commercial opportunities.
• Monitoring payroll, departmental costs, margins and overall financial performance.
• Managing cash flow, balance sheet reconciliations and financial compliance.
• Leading, developing and supporting hotel-based finance teams.
• Ensuring consistent financial procedures, controls and reporting standards across the portfolio.
• Supporting capital expenditure planning and investment decisions.
