Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Principal Account Manager to accelerate cloud adoption and digital transformation for the UK Insurance sector. You will lead an enterprise sales team, manage senior customer relationships at the CxO level, and drive revenue growth across strategic accounts.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Customer Success, and Partner teams to deliver industry-leading transformation, AI/ML initiatives, and differentiated cloud solutions within UK Financial Services.

Qualifications

Experience in the UK Insurance sector with large, complex customers.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and develop a high‑performing account team, co‑creating the sales strategy, methodologies and processes to accelerate customer adoption and meet revenue targets.
Hire and develop top talent, acting as a coach to the v-team and cross‑functional teams while fostering a culture of customer obsession and operational excellence.
Establish yourself as a key AWS voice within UK Insurance, building executive relationships and serving as a thought leader on cloud transformation.
Drive revenue growth through strategic account planning and execution; create robust sales pipelines across existing and new lines of business.
Own senior executive relationships (CxO level), delivering industry‑relevant business value and guiding contract negotiations and pricing in collaboration with Legal/Finance.
