Job summary

National Energy System Operator Limited seeks an experienced Change Lead to drive transformation across its Major Programme Delivery portfolio. Based in the UK, you will guide individuals and teams through transitions, embedding sustainable change with a focus on control room readiness and institutional capability.

Qualifications

• A sustained track record in dedicated change management roles.
• Experience delivering change across multi-operating-model environments.
• Evidence of leading the full change lifecycle across programmes or projects.
• Recognised credential (CMI, CCMP, Prosci or equivalent).
• Strong ability to influence senior leaders and diverse stakeholders, with Agile/SAFe context.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic change across NESO’s operating companies using established frameworks and deliver stakeholder mapping, communication and training plans.
• Conduct impact and readiness assessments, advise on risks and mitigations for go/no-go decisions.
• Build capability by coaching line managers and teams and addressing people impacts, including control room environments.
• Collaborate with project leads, sponsors and SMEs to ensure effective communication and engagement at all levels.
• Govern and improve change activities, oversee testing and training phases, and drive benefits realisation.
