Overview

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role at one of the world's leading insurance brokerage companies? We are seeking a Strategic Carrier Manager to join our dynamic team in London. This exciting opportunity involves leading and managing relationships with our Strategic Insurer Partners, driving our placement strategy, and ensuring service excellence.

In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and nurturing C-suite relationships with our partners. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing strategic business plans, negotiating ISA contracts and fees, and ensuring the delivery of our agreed service commitments. Additionally, you will play a key role in advancing the group placement strategy.

How you'll make an impact
  • Manage the negotiation of commercial aspects of ISA contracts and maintain C-suite relationships with allocated Strategic Insurer Partners.
  • Ensure all ISA contracts and supporting documents are fully signed and documented in accordance with team processes.
  • Identify and deliver new revenue streams for Gallagher UK.
  • Support the Head of Carrier Management in achieving business objectives and promoting a focused placement strategy.
  • Design, deliver, and lead meetings with Strategic Insurer Partners to monitor service delivery against ISA contracts and business plans.
  • Maintain comprehensive Key Stakeholder maps and briefing documents for Strategic Insurer Partners.
  • Distribute quarterly MI packs to Strategic Insurer Partners, providing comprehensive overviews of trading, market conditions, and tailored observations.
  • Develop relationships across internal stakeholders within Gallagher.
  • Record, track, and log evidence of services being delivered.
About you
  • Holds an ACII or equivalent qualification with extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of UK insurance policies and practices.
  • Proficient in using MI reports to identify data trends and discover opportunities and risks, driving strategic activities with Insurer Partners.
  • Skilled in delivering clear presentations and reports to C-suite stakeholders, with the ability to make strategic recommendations.
  • Exhibits strong communication skills, capable of building influential relationships with senior representatives and external partners.
  • Maintains expertise in FCA regulations, ensuring compliance and adapting to legislative changes affecting ISA processes.
  • Right to work in the UK.
