Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Business Architect to own how key business areas operate and evolve, aligning projects with the overall structure. The role emphasizes long-term health and the ability to guide senior leaders through strategic decisions.

You will connect processes, data, technology and people to drive measurable change, with three days on-site and a permanent, full-time contract. Salary circa £75,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in business architecture or large-scale transformation.
• Experience mapping business processes, workflows, and activities.
• Ability to connect people, processes and technology to deliver joined-up change.
• Experience acting as reviewer or sign-off authority for business changes.
• Excellent relationship-building with senior leaders.
• Strong problem-solving across a large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Map current and future state of business operations, identifying gaps, risks and dependencies.
• Review and sign off on proposed changes and advise decision-makers.
• Translate strategies into clear, step-by-step plans with sequence and rationale.
• Involve early in business cases to ensure measurable improvements.
• Coordinate across process, data and technology teams to avoid cross-department issues.
• Run workshops with senior managers to simplify complex operational concepts.
