Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is recruiting a Business Architect to shape how services are delivered to residents, businesses and communities. You will analyse strategy, identify capability needs and produce artefacts to guide organisational change.

In Enterprise Architecture, you will influence major investments, work with senior stakeholders and develop future-focused operating models and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• In depth understanding of business architecture, enterprise architecture and organisational change gained through experience delivering strategic transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience of business modelling techniques, including business capabilities, business processes and target operating models.
• Knowledge of business and systems analysis methods and tools such as BPMN, LEAN and UML.
• Experience of developing strategic roadmaps and business architecture deliverables that guide organisational change and investment decisions.
• Experience of working with senior stakeholders across large and complex organisations to influence decision making and deliver business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture work packages and support transformation programmes.
• Develop business capability models, target operating models and strategic roadmaps.
• Provide expert business architecture advice across a diverse portfolio of projects and initiatives.
• Mentor colleagues and support the growth of architectural capability across Technology Services.
