Job summary

Dentro Talent Ltd is seeking a Business Architect for a Technology Transformation programme in Birmingham. The role is hybrid, paying £80-90k plus benefits and a bonus, on a fixed-term contract through March 2029.

You will own end-to-end business change design and guide a team of Business Analysts to define processes, operating models and training materials, collaborating with Training and Target Operating Model owners throughout the programme.

Business Architect - Technology Transformation - Financial Services - Birmingham - Hybrid - £80-90,000 plus benefits and bonus - FTC to March 2029

A financial services business with real purpose and meaning is about to start a large technology transformation programme, which in turn will bring about a significant amount of change to their business processes and workflow. It's looking for a Business Architect to design how the business will run once the new technology is in place and the changes that need to happen between now and the new technology being implemented.

You’ll sit in the Business & Operational Readiness workstream, which runs alongside the Technology workstream and works closely with it. Your job is to turn new technology functionality into working business change:

• designing the processes, training and operating model changes needed
• finding where today's manual processes can become straight-through processing
• designing from scratch where new functionality has no existing process at all

You’ll own the end-to-end design of business change and set the direction for a team of Business Analysts, who will write and build the processes. You’ll also work closely with the training team, target operating model owners and the other programme workstreams.

Ideally you’ll have experience in:

• Strong experience in business architecture, operating model design or strategic change on large transformation programmes
• Confident building target operating models, capability maps and future-state process designs
• An experienced workshop facilitator who can get stakeholders from different areas to agree on future ways of working
• Able to simplify complex change and influence at a senior level
• Experience in banking, financial services or another regulated environment is desirable, as is a business analysis, architecture or change management qualification

This role is required until March 2029 and you will be on a fixed term contract so eligible for benfits and bonus in this time.
