We are seeking a driven business development professional to generate opportunities in the UK and Ireland, engaging stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, and IT to drive growth in Connectivity products and services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years' experience in new business development, technical sales, inside sales, or similar commercial role.
• Experience selling software, industrial automation, digitalisation, or technology solutions is advantageous.
• Knowledge of industrial communication technologies (OPC, SCADA, IT/OT) is desirable but training will be provided.

Aufgaben

• Generate new business opportunities for the OPC software portfolio and expand sales to existing customers in the UK & IRE.
• Collaborate and execute targeted business development plans to identify, qualify, and progress high-value sales opportunities.
• Engage with stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Digitalisation, and IT to understand challenges and project requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with end users, system integrators, consultants, and technology partners to expand market presence.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to position Connectivity solutions and justify value.
• Conduct discovery meetings and commercial engagements to advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial recommendations in line with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, forecasts, and activities in CRM.
• Contribute to achieving Connectivity business objectives through steady pipeline generation and revenue growth.
