Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a BIM Manager to lead and coordinate BIM activities across Defence & Central Government, industrial, and technology sectors in the UK. You will report to the BIM Team Leader and work with engineers to deliver national and international projects, ensuring ISO 19650 compliance and high-quality model delivery.

You will mentor colleagues, drive BIM policies, and optimize information management while expanding capabilities in 4D/5D and toolsets like Revit, Navisworks, and ACC.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading project delivery in a BIM environment.
• Experience implementing BIM accreditation/certification (ISO 19650) in a business setting.
• Experience establishing and managing ISO 19650-compliant processes on projects.
• Ability to train and support team members in BIM processes, protocols, and tools.
• Capable of delivering work on time and within budget with minimal supervision.
• Experience in BIM coordination and management, including running coordination workshops to improve model quality.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective working relationships with the Project Manager and client to ensure clear communication of progress and changes.
• Manage the BIM process supported by necessary tools in large scale projects, including multi-stakeholders.
• Provide input to the development of BIM policies and strategies related to BIM.
• Implement and ensure compliance with BIM policies and strategies within the team.
• Support the BIM Lead in refining strategies related to information management, QA, process optimization, and HR management.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards throughout all projects.
• Review and propose new BIM software and build business cases for investments.
