Job summary

Manpower in Belfast seeks a skilled Bid Manager to lead the end-to-end bid process across mechanical, electrical, energy and renewable projects. You will coordinate with experts, write compelling submissions, and ensure compliance with tender requirements. Strong deadline discipline and attention to detail are essential.

The role requires driving licence, MS Office proficiency, and experience in both public sector bids and bid writing. Occasional travel to client sites may be involved.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity review through submission and mobilisation.
• Lead preparation and submission of public and private sector bids.
• Produce clear, concise bid content within deadlines.
• Review and enhance existing bid materials for quality and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather evidence and documentation.
• Ensure submissions comply with tender instructions and evaluation criteria.
• Prepare materials for bid presentations and interviews.
• Maintain and improve bid library with case studies and team CVs with marketing.
• Provide guidance to colleagues to develop bid-writing capabilities.
