Job summary

Manpower is seeking an experienced Bid Manager in Belfast, with occasional travel to Portadown, to lead high-quality bids across mechanical, electrical, energy, and renewable projects. You will manage the bid lifecycle, write compelling submissions, and ensure compliance with client specifications for both public and private sector opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have proven bid management and writing experience, excellent time management, and the ability to work under tight deadlines

Qualifications

• Experience in public sector bid management.
• Proven ability to produce winning bids under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity review to submission.
• Lead preparation and submission of public and private sector bids.
• Produce clear, persuasive bid content within deadlines.
• Review and enhance bid materials to maximise quality.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather evidence.
• Ensure submissions comply with tender instructions.
• Prepare supporting materials for bid presentations.
• Maintain the bid library with case studies and CVs.
• Provide guidance to colleagues to develop bid-writing skills.
