Job summary

Manpower in Belfast invites applications for a Bid Manager to lead public and private sector bids across mechanical, electrical, energy and renewables projects. You will manage the full bid lifecycle and coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to produce compelling submissions.

The role demands strong bid-writing skills, excellent time management, and meticulous attention to detail. A driving licence and willingness to travel are beneficial as part of the position.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity review to submission and mobilisation.
• Lead preparation and submission of public and private sector bids with full compliance.
• Produce clear, concise bid content within strict deadlines.
• Review, edit and enhance bid materials for quality and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather evidence and documentation.
• Ensure submissions comply with tender instructions and evaluation criteria.
• Prepare materials for bid presentations and interviews.
• Maintain and improve the bid library with case studies and CVs.
• Provide guidance to colleagues to develop bid-writing capabilities.
