Job summary

Manpower in Belfast is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead high-quality bids across mechanical, electrical, energy, and renewables projects. You will manage the full bid lifecycle, ensure compliance with requirements, and collaborate with internal experts to produce persuasive submissions.

The role requires strong bid-writing skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Occasional travel to client sites may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in public sector bid management.
• Proven experience in public sector bid writing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity to submission.
• Lead the preparation and submission of public and private sector bids.
• Produce clear, concise, and persuasive bid content under deadlines.
• Review, edit and enhance existing bid materials for quality.
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather evidence and supporting docs.
• Ensure all submissions comply with tender instructions.
• Prepare materials for bid presentations and interviews.
• Maintain and improve the bid library with case studies and CVs.
• Provide guidance to colleagues to develop bid-writing capabilities.
