Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead end-to-end tender and bid processes for PfP Students. You will manage multiple bids, develop compelling submissions, and ensure all outputs meet client requirements, branding and standards.

This national role involves attending client sites as required and working with stakeholders across the business to drive growth. You will monitor bid performance, maintain a robust tender pipeline, participate in bid reviews and debriefs, and guide

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating at Bid Manager level within a competitive tendering environment.
• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement processes and local government procurement portals.
• Demonstrable experience managing multiple complex bids and tender opportunities.
• Experience building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships across a large organisation.
• Experience within Property/ Student Accommodation is preferred though not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tender and bid process for PfP Students.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously and develop compelling submissions.
• Identify opportunities through procurement portals and sector intelligence.
• Ensure submissions meet client requirements, branding and company standards.
• Lead bid reviews and debriefs and monitor bid performance.
• Maintain an up-to-date tender pipeline and shape future bidding strategies.
• Provide leadership to temporary bid writers during peak activity.
