Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to drive end-to-end tender submissions for PfP Students. You will lead multiple bids, collaborate with the Head of Business Development, and ensure submissions meet client requirements and branding guidelines.

You will identify opportunities through procurement portals, manage bid reviews, and shape future bidding strategy with market insight, potentially guiding temporary bid writers during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating at bid manager level within a competitive tendering environment.
• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement processes and local government portals.
• Demonstrable experience managing multiple complex bids simultaneously.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in property or student accommodation is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tender and bid processes for PfP Students.
• Manage multiple bids concurrently and monitor bid performance.
• Identify opportunities through portals and sector intelligence.
• Lead bid reviews and debriefs and maintain a tender pipeline.
• Provide leadership to temporary bid writers when needed.
