Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Bid Manager/Senior Bid Writer to lead end-to-end tender submissions for clients across construction, engineering, consultancy and professional services. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, craft persuasive responses and manage governance to ensure on-time delivery.

You will also develop templates, case studies and content libraries while driving improvements to win rates through rigorous quality assurance and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years bid management or tender experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple bids with competing deadlines.
• Strong written communication and document production skills.
• Ability to develop persuasive, client-focused responses and clear bid strategies.
• Experience coordinating technical and commercial contributors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full bid process from opportunity assessment through to submission.
• Develop bid strategies, win themes and response plans tailored to client requirements.
• Coordinate input from technical, operational and commercial teams to meet deadlines.
• Write, edit and develop bid content including methodologies and project approaches.
• Manage bid reviews, governance and internal approvals.
• Coordinate pricing, fee proposals and commercial information with stakeholders.
• Oversee final document production and submission, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain bid templates, case studies and content libraries.
• Review previous submissions and implement improvements to bid processes and success rates.
