Job summary

LG Project Consultancy Ltd is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth in the North West within Fast Track Retail, Fit-Out and Design & Build sectors. You will own the sales cycle from prospecting to contract award, building strong client relationships and shaping opportunities.

With £55,000-£65,000 base salary, £5,000 car allowance and £80,000+ OTE, this permanent role offers uncapped earnings and progression within a growing contractor.

Qualifications

• Proven BDM experience within construction or fit-out.
• Strong network of relevant industry contacts.
• Proven track record of generating and winning new business.
• Experience dealing with senior decision-makers.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project margins.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Autonomous and self-motivated approach.
• Ability to own the sales function and drive growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a proactive business development strategy across the North West.
• Identify and secure new opportunities within the Fast Track Retail, Fit-Out and Design & Build sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Develop relationships with retailers, developers, landlords, property consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.
• Generate a consistent pipeline of new opportunities from enquiry to contract award.
• Attend networking events and client meetings to develop new relationships.
• Monitor market activity and identify upcoming projects and procurement opportunities.
• Collaborate with estimating, pre-construction, commercial and operations teams on tenders and proposals.
• Lead client presentations, negotiations and commercial discussions.
• Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for repeat business.
• Contribute towards growth strategy and market expansion.
