Job summary

National Grid plc in Warwick is seeking an Asset Management Performance & Compliance Manager to shape the function and drive performance, capability and organisational effectiveness across Asset Management. You'll partner with the Director of Asset Management and Senior Leadership to provide strategic oversight.

This role emphasizes governance, risk management and actionable insights, with a focus on building capability and aligning cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance management and governance within a large organisation.
• Proven ability to produce executive-level dashboards and MI.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across Finance, HR, Regulation and Digital.
• Structured, proactive approach to identifying issues and trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and performance rhythm for Asset Management leadership.
• Own the monthly Performance Pack with operational, financial, and risk insights.
• Support governance, decision-making and action tracking with senior leaders.
• Develop and maintain capability framework and workforce priorities.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Finance, HR, and regulatory teams.
• Maintain risk & opportunity log and ensure actions are completed.
• Capture stakeholder feedback and reflect in priorities.
• Develop internal communications connecting to strategy and achievements.
• Provide horizon scanning on regulatory and organisational developments.
• Drive continuous improvement to embed performance culture.
