WSP is seeking a Technical Director in Asset Management to lead strategic asset management frameworks for UK infrastructure clients. You will advise senior clients, shape long-term capital investment plans and drive risk-based decision-making and digital transformation across projects.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, deliver high-impact advisory work, and develop client relationships while mentoring consultants to foster a high-performance, safety-conscious culture.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in asset management and management consultancy, with a track record in strategy development and delivering complex assignments.
• Understanding of asset management practices across multiple sectors and their business applications.
• Expertise in ISO 55000, asset lifecycle and investment planning, risk-based strategies and digital transformation.
• Knowledge of UK infrastructure regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Ability to present creative technology-led development to clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and teams.
• Experience configuring asset data systems and implementing EAM/CMMS/DSTs.
• Strong project management skills and delivery of multi-disciplinary work.

• Lead development and implementation of strategic asset management frameworks across sectors.
• Provide technical leadership on complex projects and regulatory compliance.
• Lead analytical staff to inform long-term capital investment programmes.
• Assess client asset management practices and define future-state improvements.
• Lead advisory commissions, transformation programmes and business case development.
• Lead tenders and high-quality submissions to win projects.
• Act as lead advisor for integration of EAM/CMMS/DSTs to enhance asset performance.
• Oversee multidisciplinary projects, delivering on time and budget.
• Drive innovation and sustainability through new technologies and processes.
• Build strong client relationships and represent WSP in professional forums.
• Mentor and develop consultants and promote a safety-first culture.
