Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Technical Director in Strategic Asset Management to lead and shape asset strategies across infrastructure sectors. You will guide long-term capital investment planning, risk-based decisions, and data-driven solutions for clients including government agencies and private sector partners.

The role offers hybrid working across UK offices, senior mentorship, and opportunities to drive sustainability through innovative technology and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in asset management and management consultancy.
• Proven ability to lead strategy development and client delivery.
• Understanding of asset management theory and practice across sectors.
• Experience engaging executives and delivering complex advisory work.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of strategic asset management frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership on complex projects with risk-based planning.
• Guide long-term capital investment programmes and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor consultants and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
• Drive innovation, digital tools, and sustainability initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships; lead tenders and submissions.
