Job summary

Resource Recruitment is seeking a Stores Person in Poole to join a well‑established family‑run distribution company. The role covers goods in, stock rotation, picking and despatch, loading vehicles, forklift movement and maintaining warehouse standards.

The successful candidate will have warehouse experience, good customer service skills, and a reliable, flexible approach. Excellent training and a supportive environment accompany a 40.25‑hour week and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Goods in, checking deliveries for damage or shortages
• Stock storage, rotation and stock checks
• Picking, packing and despatching customer orders
• Loading company vehicles and carrier collections
• Moving stock using pallet trucks, sack trucks and forklifts
• Boxing, labelling and replenishing stock
• Monitoring traceable and limited shelf-life items
• Processing returned goods
• Serving trade counter customers
• Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping
• Forklift battery charging and maintenance
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Supporting with other warehouse duties as required

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £27,209 per annum

Hours: 40.25 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8:15am - 5pm & Friday 8:15am - 4pm
