Job summary

Resource Recruitment is seeking an experienced Stores Person for a well-known family-run distribution company in Poole. You will handle goods in, stock checking, picking/packing, despatching orders and loading vehicles, while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include forklift movement, stock rotation, and serving trade counter customers in a friendly, well-organised environment. 40.25 hours/week with training and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or stores role.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely.
• Good health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Stock storage, rotation and stock checks.
• Picking, packing and despatching orders.
• Loading company vehicles and carrier collections.

Hours: 40.25 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8:15am – 5pm & Friday 8:15am – 4pm

Within this role you will be undertaking;

• Boxing, labelling and replenishing stock
• Monitoring traceable and limited shelf-life items
• Serving trade counter customers
• Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping
• Forklift battery charging and maintenance
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Supporting with other warehouse duties as required
