Job summary

Resource Recruitment is seeking an experienced Stores Person for a well-known family-run distribution company in Poole. You will handle goods in, stock checking, picking/packing, despatching orders and loading vehicles, while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include forklift movement, stock rotation, and serving trade counter customers in a friendly, well-organised environment. 40.25 hours/week with training and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or stores role.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely.
• Good health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Goods in: check deliveries for damage or shortages.
• Stock storage, rotation and stock checks.
• Picking, packing and despatching orders.
• Loading company vehicles and carrier collections.
• Moving stock using pallet trucks and forklifts.
• Boxing, labeling and replenishing stock.
• Monitor traceable and limited shelf-life items.
• Serve trade counter customers.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping.
