Job summary

SR Structures in Lymington is seeking a Stores Person to join a busy boatbuilding yard. The role covers general workshop housekeeping, basic stores support, and driving duties. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided, and a valid driving licence is essential.

40 hours per week, 8:00–16:30. The role involves receiving deliveries, issuing materials to teams, keeping stores tidy, updating stock records, and supporting workshop operations.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Forklift certificate desirable, but training can be provided.
• English: read, write and speak to a good standard.
• Basic Excel skills are useful; training can be provided.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a workshop/yard environment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving deliveries and checking goods in.
• Issuing materials and components to boatbuilding teams.
• Maintaining tidy, safe and well‑organised stores areas.
• Updating stock records and simple spreadsheets.
