Staffline is advertising a permanent Store Person / Driver in Tewkesbury. The role combines driving a company van with stores duties, supporting production through material supply and ensuring timely deliveries to customers and sub-contractors.

The position offers a salary of £28,390 to £29,400 per year, with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a company pension, and an employee assistance programme. Training for forklift operation is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouses, or manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company van to make deliveries to customers and sub-contractors.
• Carry out Goods In duties including checking and booking in deliveries whilst maintaining traceability.
• Issue raw material to the shop floor.
• Pack parts for customer and sub-contract deliveries.
• Control stock and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Kit parts for the Assembly department.
• Ensure company vehicle cleanliness and road-worthiness.
• Issue PPE and general stores equipment.
• Work with Purchasing to order stores supplies.
• Cover the Stores Supervisor during absence.
• Operate a fork truck (training provided if required).
• Support general stores and operational activities as required.

We are now seeking to recruit a driver/ store person to work for engineering manufacturing company based in Tewkesbury. The appropriate store person would be supporting the efficient operation of the Stores department by carrying out goods in/out functions, maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production through material supply and kitting, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers and sub-contractors.
