Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking a Stores Person in the Oldham area to join a well-established aerospace/defence manufacturing business on a long-term contract with premium overtime rates. The role involves kitting, stock taking, moving materials, and using MRP systems in a hands-on environment.

Key requirements include experience in manufacturing or engineering, knowledge of MRP systems, and a desirable forklift license.

The Company

We’re working with a well-established business specialising in manufacturing within the aerospace and defence industry. They are currently looking to add a Stores Person to their team; this Stores Person role offers the opportunity to join a well-established business on a long-term contract basis, as well as premium overtime rates.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Stores Person your key responsibilities will include:

• Kitting
• Stock Taking
• Use of MRP systems
• Transporting of materials
• Manual handling

Key Requirements

To be considered for this Store Person role, you will need:

• Experience in manufacturing and/or engineering.
• Knowledge of MRP systems.
• Desirable: Forklift LicenseThis is an active, hands-on role involving regular movement around the workplace and the moving and handling of boxes throughout the day.

What They Can Offer You

As the new Stores Person, you can expect:

• Rate: £13.00 per hour.
• Premium Rate Overtime Available up to £26.00 per hour.
• Shift Pattern: Monday – Thursday 7:45 – 4:30, Friday – 7:45-12.45.
• Long term rolling contracts and permanent positions are available.
