Omega Resource Group in Tewkesbury is seeking a Store Person / Driver to join the engineering manufacturing team. The role covers goods in/out, stock accuracy, and timely customer deliveries.

This permanent position offers a salary of £28,390–£29,400 per year, 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a company pension scheme, and an employee assistance programme (subject to probation). A profit related bonus scheme and overtime are also available after probation, with forklift training provided if

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouses, or manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Driving the company van to make deliveries to customers and sub-contractors.
• Carrying out Goods In duties including checking and booking in deliveries whilst maintaining traceability.
• Issuing raw material to the shop floor.
• Packing parts for customer and sub-contractor deliveries.
• Controlling stock and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Kitting parts for the Assembly department.
• Ensuring company vehicle cleanliness and road-worthiness.
• Issuing PPE and general stores equipment.
• Working with Purchasing to order stores supplies.
• Covering for the Stores Supervisor during absence.
• Operating a fork truck (training provided if required).
• Supporting general stores and operational activities as required.

About The Role

We are now seeking to recruit a driver/ store person to work for engineering manufacturing company based in Tewkesbury. The appropriate store person would be supporting the efficient operation of the Stores department by carrying out goods in/out functions, maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production through material supply and kitting, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers and sub-contractors.
