INDMID is seeking a Stores Person for a hands-on role within a well‑established aerospace/defence manufacturing supplier. The position involves kitting, stock taking, and moving materials around the site using MRP systems to keep production flowing.

The role requires experience in manufacturing or engineering and knowledge of MRP systems; forklift license is desirable. Overtime premium rates apply and long-term rolling contracts or permanent positions are available.

The Company

We’re working with a well-established business specialising in manufacturing within the aerospace and defence industry. They are currently looking to add a Stores Person to their team; this Stores Person role offers the opportunity to join a well-established business on a long-term contract basis, as well as premium overtime rates.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Stores Person your key responsibilities will include:

• Kitting
• Stock Taking
• Use of MRP systems
• Transporting of materials
• Manual handling

Key Requirements

To be considered for this Store Person role, you will need:

• Experience in manufacturing and/or engineering.
• Knowledge of MRP systems.
• Desirable: Forklift License

This is an active, hands‑on role involving regular movement around the workplace and the moving and handling of boxes throughout the day.

What They Can Offer You

As the new Stores Person, you can expect:

• Rate: £13.00 per hour.
• Premium Rate Overtime Available up to £26.00 per hour.
• Shift Pattern: Monday – Thursday 7:45 – 4:30, Friday – 7:45-12.45.
• Long term rolling contracts and permanent positions are available.
