Job summary

Henderson Group is seeking a Team Leader for SPAR/MAXOL Ballycastle to help run the store alongside the Assistant Manager and Store Manager. You will lead the team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience, uphold standards and represent our values in a busy community store.

The role is full-time, 42.5 hours per week, with shifts across early mornings, days, evenings and weekends. The salary is £14.63 per hour with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18+ with store retail experience and at least 6 months in a supervisory role.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to drive targets and improve store performance.
• Inspire and lead the team to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team alongside the Assistant Manager/Store Manager.
• Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders (keyholder duties).
• Model Henderson Group values: Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork, Integrity.
• Train, manage workload and be hands-on to ensure resources meet demand.
• Support Store Manager to maximise store performance and implement the store plan.
• Promote initiatives to support the local community.
• May cover the Post Office when required.
