Job summary

Co-op Digital is seeking a Customer Team Leader in Burghfield Common to lead a small store team, ensuring shelves are stocked and customers receive friendly service across shifts.

You’ll work early or late, including weekends, for 30 hours per week plus overtime, taking responsibility for daily operations and customer satisfaction.

This role offers in-store discounts, training, pension contributions, and flexible pay access as part of Co-op’s member‑owned ethos.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+ to authorise age-related sales.
• Retail or team supervision experience preferred (not essential).
• Flexible availability including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth.
