Job summary

John Lewis Partnership invites you to join Waitrose as a Team Manager, leading a busy shop floor and inspiring Partners to deliver outstanding customer service that reflects the Waitrose spirit. You’ll drive performance, coaching and operational excellence to maximise sales and maintain store standards.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Ability to build high-performing teams and conduct regular, honest performance conversations.
• A passion for retail and understanding of the Partnership’s brands.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day shop operations.
• Maximise sales and minimise wastage.
• Maintain availability and merchandising to high standards.
• Lead and develop the team, including holidays and managing absences.
• Create a culture of care, belonging, pace and productivity.
• Engage Partners in delivering change within the shop.
