Job summary

CO-OP is looking for a Customer Team Leader to guide a small store team in a fast-paced environment, assisting with post office, bakery, online services, and home delivery operations. You will be the face of the community, building relationships with customers and supporting Co-op membership growth.

You’ll oversee day-to-day store running, coach your team for excellent service, handle floor and till operations, and drive merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to motivate and coach a small team.
• Experience in retail, merchandising or store operations.
• Flexible, proactive and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day store operations and lead shift teams.
• Motivate and coach staff to deliver excellent service.
• Work hands-on on shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations.
• Support stock accuracy and merchandising.
• Champion Co-op membership and community engagement.
