Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Leader in Cottenham to lead a small store team and ensure excellent customer service. The role includes front-line operations, staff coaching, and involvement in bakery or post office duties where applicable.

The position requires flexible shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, late evenings, and at least one weekend shift. You will help drive community engagement and promote Co-op membership benefits while delivering smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, and in our in-store bakery, supporting daily operations.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth.
