Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Leader to oversee a busy store on shifts including weekends. You’ll lead a small team, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and deliver excellent customer service on the shop floor, tills and in the bakery where applicable.

You’ll manage stock, merchandising, and community engagement initiatives, while promoting Co-op membership benefits. A flexible approach and focus on people are essential for success in this role.

• Experience leading small teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong ability to coach and motivate staff to deliver great service.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor, tills, and in-store bakery to support daily operations.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth.
