Job summary

Timberland is seeking a Store Supervisor for our East Midlands Outlet Store in Alfreton. This fixed-term 12-month, full-time role bridges store management and sales teams, driving service, sales and daily retail excellence.

You will coach staff, maintain brand standards, and ensure policies are followed to deliver a consistent customer experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail setting, opens/closes the store, and communicates effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Love interacting with people and leading by example.
• Hands-on mentality with passion for customer experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience opening/closing a store and taking charge when needed.
• Retail background with fashion/lifestyle exposure.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team to drive sales and profitability.
• Coach and motivate sales associates to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Keep the store visually merchandising-ready and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Ensure operational policies and procedures are followed.
• Monitor store KPIs and help achieve targets.
