Job summary

CJ Lang & Son Ltd in Larbert is seeking a proactive Store Supervisor to support the Store Manager in daily operations and uphold our SPAR-branded standards.

You will lead shift teams, ensure friendly customer service, manage opening/closing, cash handling, stock presentation and safety, while promoting offers and keeping the store clean and compliant. This role focuses on delivering excellent service and maintaining store standards across the SPAR Larbert site.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or store environments.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to meet customer needs in all areas of the store.
• Responsible for opening and closing of the Store.
• Attend call outs if the store alarm is activated during non-trading hours.
• Supervise and support team members on shift, allocate tasks to ensure duties are completed in a timely manner.
• Cash up and balance tills in line with company cash procedures.
• Merchandise store according to store standards and company planograms.
• Process all sales transactions accurately and in line with Company procedures.
• Deputise and provide cover for the Store Manager in their absence.
• Follow all current Company procedures in line with current legal requirements.
