Job summary

CJ Lang & Sons Ltd is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead daily operations in a SPAR Scotland retail environment. You will deliver excellent customer service across all areas of the store and support the Store Manager in day-to-day running.

Key duties include opening/closing the store, supervising shifts, cash handling, merchandising, and promoting offers while ensuring stock integrity and store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence required across store areas.
• Experience supervising a small team on shift.
• Cash handling and till balancing procedures.
• Familiarity with store merchandising and planograms.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service across the store.
• Open and close the store.
• Attend call outs if the alarm is activated after hours.
• Supervise and support team members on shift, allocate tasks.
• Cash up and balance tills in line with procedures.
• Merchandise store to company standards and planograms.
• Promote offers and assist customers with purchases.
• Process sales transactions in line with company procedures.
• Deputise for Store Manager in their absence.
• Maintain high standards of store cleanliness.
