Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited in Billingshurst is looking for a proactive Store Supervisor to lead the team and deliver outstanding results. This hands-on role supports the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations while ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional experience.

You will manage 40-hour weeks on a rotating schedule, with every other weekend, and take responsibility as Duty Manager when needed.

• Strong understanding of retail operations, including stock control and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in delivering annual sales budgets and business plans.
• Drive sales through effective merchandising and stock control.
• Lead daily team organisation, rotas, and task delegation.
• Coach and motivate colleagues to achieve targets and deliver excellent service.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and company procedures.
• Act as Duty Manager and keyholder when required.

We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Store Supervisor to help lead our team and deliver outstanding results. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in day‑to‑day operations, inspire colleagues, and ensure every customer enjoys an exceptional experience. About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time

Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis, with a requirement to work every other weekend

As Store Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in driving store performance, maintaining high standards, and supporting team development. You’ll lead by example, create a positive and solution-focused environment, and make sure every interaction reflects our values: customer first, innovative, knowledgeable, honest, committed, and courageous.

Key responsibilities include:
