Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Retail Shift Manager in Wigston to lead a store team, drive customer happiness and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. You’ll motivate colleagues, delegate tasks and take responsibility in the Store Manager’s absence, with a focus on service, stock and cash processes.

We offer £15.45-£15.95 per hour for a 35-hour contract, bank holiday uplift (£2.00) and night shift uplift (£3.50), plus a generous benefits package including a 10% in-store discount

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
• Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
• Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to make sure shifts run smoothly
• Give our customers the very best experience every time they visit your store
