Job summary

B&Q Jersey is recruiting a Shift Lead on a permanent basis for 18.5 hours per week. The role pays £16.64 per hour, inclusive of £2.14 per hour store location allowance, plus pension and 6.6 weeks holiday.

Your duties include overseeing the shift to ensure a safe working and shopping environment, deploying colleagues, and providing a great experience for customers and staff. A supportive, energetic team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Be the heartbeat of the store day-to-day and ensure operations run smoothly.
• Deploy colleagues effectively to serve customers during your shift.
• Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
• Ensure stores are safe at all times.
