Job summary

B&Q Brighton is hiring a Shift Lead on a permanent contract. This full-time role (36.75 hours/week) covers early to late shifts (5am–10pm) and carries a store location allowance with a pension and generous holiday entitlement. You will lead the shift, support colleagues and ensure a safe, welcoming store for customers.

Qualifications

• Passionate about customers and doing the right thing for them.
• Safety conscious with an eye for detail to spot compliance opportunities.
• Enjoy interacting with colleagues and working in a team.
• Confident to have autonomy and trust to make decisions for the customer at pace.

Responsibilities

• Be the heartbeat of the store day-to-day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
• Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
• Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
• Make sure our stores are safe at all times.
