Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Business Acceleration Lead for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Reading. You will work with the Store Leader to drive commercial success, coach teams across Beauty, Healthcare, Wellness and Pharmacy, and strengthen customer and patient care while maximising opportunities.

You’ll be highly visible on the shop floor, inspiring staff, delivering timely coaching, and using performance data to identify growth opportunities and develop capability.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading Beauty, Healthcare, Wellness or Pharmacy teams.
• Proven experience of leading, coaching and developing teams to deliver strong customer service and commercial results.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with sales data, KPIs and targets of the team.
• A visible, proactive and positive leadership style, with the confidence to lead from the front.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer and patient care.
• The ability to provide effective feedback and confidently manage challenging performance conversations.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and work effectively at pace.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A commitment to inclusion, diversity and creating a positive environment for colleagues.
• A willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop our beauty crew, health and wellness specialists, and pharmacy teams to deliver exceptional service and strong commercial results.
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor, provide in-the-moment coaching and celebrate successes.
• Use performance insights to identify development opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify trends from sales data, drive targeted action plans and support store objectives.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture and build relationships with key stakeholders.
